Delivery Date Picker
A live delivery estimate on the cart page, not a generic '3 to 5 days' guess.
Most stores either say nothing about delivery timing until the confirmation email, or hardcode a generic estimate that goes wrong the moment a shipping method changes or a holiday falls in the middle of the week. This module calculates a real date from your own cutoff times, lead times, and holiday calendar, and updates it the moment a shopper picks a shipping method.
Features
- Live estimate on the cart page, updated instantly, no page reload
- Cutoff time and lead time rules per shipping method, scoped by store view
- A shared holiday calendar and per-rule blackout weekdays
- Every date counted in real business days, in the store's own timezone
One-time payment for the term you choose, covering updates & support for that long. It doesn't auto-renew; renew any time from your dashboard.

More about Delivery Date Picker
The problem
Shoppers decide whether to buy partly on when an item will actually arrive, and a cart page that says nothing about that is asking them to guess. Most stores either leave the question unanswered until the confirmation email, or hardcode a generic "delivery in 3 to 5 business days" message that quietly becomes wrong the moment a shipping method changes or a holiday falls in the middle of the week.
How it works
This extension replaces that guess with a real estimate, calculated from rules a merchant actually sets. Each rule defines:
- A cutoff time, past which an order counts as placed the next business day
- A lead time in business days before the order ships
- An optional delivery window (a range of days rather than a single date)
- The specific shipping method the rule applies to, by carrier and method code
When a shopper on the cart page selects a shipping method, the estimate updates immediately, calculated from the current time in the store's own timezone against that method's own cutoff and lead time.
Holidays and blackout days
Delivery dates are only useful if they account for the days a store genuinely cannot ship on. Weekly blackout days, no dispatch on weekends for example, are set per rule, and a single shared holiday calendar covers company wide closures without needing to be re-entered on every rule that uses it. Every date the module produces already accounts for both, so an estimate spanning a public holiday correctly pushes the delivery window out rather than quietly showing a date nothing will actually ship on.
Multi store support
Because rules can be scoped to individual store views, a store selling into more than one country or region can run different cutoff and lead time rules for each, without needing separate installations or manual overrides at checkout.
What the shopper sees
The result is a delivery estimate a shopper can actually trust, calculated the same way your warehouse and courier partners actually work, not a generic promise that happens to be right some of the time.
Configuration
Where to find it in the Magento admin
This module does not use Store Configuration. Delivery rules and the holiday calendar are managed directly under Nextbyte > Delivery Estimate in the main admin menu:
| Screen | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Rules | Create and edit cutoff time, lead time days, optional delivery window, blackout weekdays, which shipping method the rule applies to, and which store views it is active for |
| Holidays | A shared list of dates the whole store treats as non dispatching, usable across every rule |
Each rule is matched to exactly one shipping method, identified by its carrier and method code, so a store with several shipping options can give each one its own accurate cutoff and lead time rather than a single estimate for everything.
